This lot of 3 antique hardcover books by J. Fenimore Cooper, published in the 1870s by Hurd and Houghton, are a rare find for collectors of literature and fiction. These antique Hardcover books are in good condition for their age. There is some fading to the boards but the books have maintained their purple color with most of the fading to the spine areas. There is some chipping and loss to the top and bottom areas of the spines as well. The binding in these three books is in very good order and the books are held together well. The pages are clean with no noticeable foxing or marks to the pages. The Ways Of The Hour does have some slight water damage to the cover pages in the margins and some creasing to the title page.
