The formal studio group shows six family members in late-19th-century dress posed against an ornate painted backdrop. The identified family association, Missouri photographer imprint, large mounted format, clothing, and studio presentation make this an appealing research piece for collectors of genealogy, Missouri history, Victorian photography, and identified family portraits.
