Original antique advertising piece featuring beautiful period advertisements for Van Houten’s Cacao and Knorr’s Hafermehl, along with several additional early Knorr food products.
The Van Houten side features an elaborate illustration of a woman surrounded by cacao plants and the German advertising slogan “½ Kilo genügt für 100 Tassen.”
The Knorr advertisement promotes Hafermehl (oat flour), Hafergrütze, Haferflocken, soups, tapioca, egg noodles and other early Knorr products. Believed to date from approximately the early 1900s, although the exact publication and year have not been confirmed.
Antique condition with substantial age-related toning, spotting/foxing, creasing and general paper wear as shown. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition.
