The central scene depicts a classical, idyllic Italian landscape featuring two figures in a terrace garden setting against a backdrop of sweeping palm trees, architectural domes, and a distant hilltop fortress.
The rim is beautiful framed by alternating intricate cartouches containing miniature landscapes and lush floral scrollwork, separated by a delicate geometric latticework pattern.This beautiful platter is in excellent condition, especially for its age.
