Arnold Friberg The Night Then Christ Was Born Signed Numbered LE Print COA For Sale

ABOUT THIS PIECEThe Night Then Christ Was Born by Arnold Friberg - a hand-signed, hand-numbered limited edition print from a closed edition.WHY THIS PIECE MATTERSThe edition is closed and no further impressions will ever be produced. Every signed and numbered copy that changes hands from here on is coming out of a private collection, not a publisher\'s inventory.Condition is what separates copies of the same edition. Most impressions on the secondary market have been framed, trimmed to fit a mat, faded by daylight, or separated from their certificate. Those copies are not equivalent to this one and should not be priced as though they are.CONDITIONExcellent. This impression has never been framed and never been displayed. It has been stored flat in archival conditions, so there is no fading, no creasing, no pinholes, no tape residue, and no trimming. The full original margins are intact. Hand-signed and numbered by the artist. The Certificate of Authenticity is included.SPECIFICATIONSArtist: Arnold FribergTitle: The Night Then Christ Was BornMedium: Offset lithographImage size: 21x27Signature: Hand-signed by artistCertificate of Authenticity: IncludedCondition: Excellent - never framed, never displayedABOUT THE ARTISTAmerican illustrator (1913–2010), R.S.A. of the Royal Society of Arts, London, best known for his twelve Book of Mormon paintings (1951–1959) and his Academy Award-nominated concept art for Cecil B. DeMille\'s \"\"The Ten Commandments\"\" (1956). His death in 2010 permanently fixed the supply of signed impressions.SHIPPINGShipped FLAT ONLY - never rolled in a tube. Rolling a print of this age and value risks cracking the ink layer and leaves a curl that never fully relaxes.
