Here is a very early single-sided Hollywood Recorders 16\" Radio transcription disc. It contains 15 minutes of audio As Told By Jim Tully. The Matrix number is HR 1006. The reverse side is adorned with an elaborately embossed Allied Phonograph and Record Mfg Company logo.
Note the label is no longer as complete as it was several years ago when the full size pictures were taken. The label was being held in place with some ancient scotch tape and has deteriorated over the past several years. The disc itself is solid. It is similar to vitrolac. It is not lacquer, it is not vinyl. It is brittle and needs to be handled with care.
NOTE: This disc requires special equipment in order to be played properly.
