Astatic N302-7d phonograph needle, genuine new old stock in the original Astatic card packaging. This is the Electro-Voice replacement stylus, made in the USA by Astatic Corp of Conneaut, Ohio: a single-tip 0.7 mil diamond for stereo and LP records. It cross-references to A-229D, W-10 (1STD; 2MGD), D1-1, 506D, 511D, 733D, and 2604D, is equivalent to the Pfanstiehl 352-D7, and replaces the Electro-Voice EV 2604D. It is the diamond version of the N302-7s and is the type used in the Electro-Voice 21, 26, 27, 126, 127, 128, and 129 cartridges, with applications also documented in various Magnavox and Philco console players. Compatible with Electro-Voice and Astatic players and offered as a universal-fit replacement stylus for the applications listed above.
The needle assembly is present and seated in the original packaging as pictured, with the holder and cantilever clearly visible. The card shows light shelf wear and age toning consistent with vintage stock. Sold as new old stock and not tested on a turntable.
