The Athena Complete Gasket Kit includes gaskets and rubber parts for top-end and complete engine rebuilding, from the base gasket up. Oil seals are not included.
Head gasket features rubber-coated spring steel construction. Soft steel base gaskets are rubber coated. Steel core material provides high springback and tensile strength. A transparent coating is applied for sealing at high temperatures, and high-temperature blue silicone beading is used on most critical flat gaskets.
Gaskets are manufactured in computer-controlled facilities from high-quality materials. Each piece is engineered in Italy using laser cutting and surface treatments to improve sealing in critical areas.
