The AD-4mkII features four built-in address circuits, allowing you to use both encoding and decoding addresses simultaneously. As a result, when used in combination with a three-head deck, you can monitor the decoded signal in real time while recording.
Since two decks can be connected, deck-to-deck dubbing is possible without passing through the address circuits. You can directly dub signals that are still address-encoded or perform standard tape dubbing.Furthermore, it features a recording input on the front panel, enabling address recording to a total of three decks simultaneously.
It is equipped with a wide-range peak meter covering -40 dB to +12 dB. This meter has an attack time of 10 msec, ensuring a rapid response.It features a fine-tuning function for the address reference signal, allowing you to adjust the signal output level to match the address reference level of -3 dB.
The encoding (address recording) output is set to 300 mV, making it compatible even with open (Reel-to-Reel) decks that have low input sensitivity.It features input and output volume controls.
