Sometime in the 1990s, from out of Japan came this mysterious vinyl Sofubi, bootleg of the Aurora Gigantic Frankenstein, aka BIG FRANKIE. No one seems to know who was behind it, other than it was a Japanese boutique production, with unknown very low numbers made. They used the later nickname for the box art. Instead of being a styrene plastic model kit, it is a vinyl action figure of sorts with posable arms. The rock is also made of vinyl and the chain is plastic. This was before Polar Lights or Moebius ever re-released the model kit. Molded in multiple colors and painted by the producers. It stands at about 18" tall and has weight to it. I think maybe the feet were weighted. Overall condition is excellent with maybe some minor wear.Hard to find very cool vintage Monster toy
