Authentic Vintage Leather Gucci Magic Flip Wallet for Cards / Paper Currency For Sale

This listing is for an authentic, vintage, rare and highly collectible bi-colored leather Magic Flip Gucci long wallet, as shown in the photos. - This wallet features a truly ingenious ‘magic flip’ interlocking elastic mechanism that can be opened vertically from either side and contains several dedicated slips. - The wallet measures 7” tall and 3” wide; it’s the perfect size to contain paper currency but there is no dedicated slip. But(!) when you place paper bills or other similarly sized documents (e.g., checks, receipts, etc.) inside and close the wallet, it’s totally secured by the elastic bands! - The exterior of this wallet is crafted from genuine olive-colored textured leather whereas the interior is crafted from genuine tan-colored smooth leather. - The elastic bands are made from the iconic woven Sherry Stripe webbing in red-and-green, typical of the era this item was created (circa 1970’s and 1980’s, a truly classic era of Gucci craftsmanship.) - When opened, each side of the wallet contains different compartments: one side has 5 dedicated card slots with a large slip pocket behind it; the other side has a document pocket with a thumb-slide/preview window, which was specifically designed to store and easily retrieve a paper document like a driver\'s license or identification card. - The wallet also features gold-toned brass corner guards and a silver-foiled vintage Gucci crest stamp stating “GUCCI / ITALY” on the interior; behind the document pocket with a thumb slide / preview window displays the original silver-foiled serial stamp 030-904-9470, guaranteeing its authenticity. - This authentic vintage Gucci Magic Wallet is in excellent vintage condition; it LOOKS new, other than the age-related patina typical of vintage leather. The webbing has totally retained its elasticity and functions like new. - This wallet was only lightly used and then put away in storage for a long time. It does NOT have any isolated areas where it’s worn down. It’s really in pristine vintage condition!
