Azurite Floret, Nacimiento Mine, Cuba, New Mexico. I love to wander the huge dumps of this mine. Several months ago, on a wander, I found this specimen. I cleaned off all of the sandstone matrix that I could without ruining the floret, but you can see that I did not get it all. A few blebs of malachite are present. 1 and 1/4 inches at widest.
