In addition to BAK’s patented auto-latching system, which automatically secures the cover when closed, the BAKFlip MX4 (GEN3) features re-engineered lock components for improved resistance to forced entry compared to the GEN2. When the weather turns, the BAKFlip MX4 (GEN3) holds strong. Revised EPDM rubber perimeter seals and tight-fit clamps provide our best seal yet, preventing seepage between the bed cover and bed rails. At the rear of the cover, a 13 percent longer dual-action tailgate seal provides weather protection for the tailgate.
