BMW Transmission Valve Body / Mechatronic TCU Cloning Service
Service Overview:
Modern BMW automatic transmissions use a mechatronic unit (valve body + TCU) that stores vehicle-specific data such as VIN, immobilizer sync, adaptation values, and coding. When replacing a faulty unit with a donor, this data must be transferred to ensure proper function. Our cloning service copies all essential information from your original module to the replacement, allowing a direct plug-and-play installation.
What’s Cloned:
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Immobilizer / ISN data (anti-theft sync)
Transmission coding and calibrations
Adaptation values (when possible)

Important Notes:
This is a service only – no replacement modules are supplied.
You must send both the original (faulty) mechatronic/TCU and the donor (replacement) unit.
Donor unit must be the same part number or a verified compatible part number.
Units with severe hardware damage may not be cloneable.
Compatibility:
BMW models equipped with ZF6HP, ZF8HP, or similar automatic transmissions (common in 3-Series, 5-Series, 7-Series, X-Series, etc.).
Always confirm part numbers with your mechanic or by checking the label on your module before ordering.
If we attempt to clone your module and the cloning process is not successful, the charge will still apply, as the same time and effort is required regardless of the outcome.
If you send us another replacement module for the same vehicle, we will waive the service charge and perform the cloning at no additional cost.
If the part numbers on the module sent in for cloning do not match, the cloning service cannot be performed. In this case, a $25.00 service charge plus return shipping fees will apply.
