This has been the missing link for some time now for folks wanting to convert to a disc brake system on a old/midschool ride and still utilize the larger thread for a freewheel. This adapter fits onto the small side of your flip flop hub. This adapter with the smaller thread is essential if you plan on running a 16T or larger freewheel.
