This is a Baldor-Reliance Super E Washdown Duty Motor (specifically catalog number VESWDM3546T).
Because it is explicitly designated as a "Washdown Duty" motor made with paint-free, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it is specifically engineered for environments where machinery is regularly blasted with water, high-pressure sanitizers, and harsh cleaning chemicals.
The primary uses and applications for this motor include:
• Food and Beverage Processing: Operating food processing machinery, blenders, mixers, slicing equipment, and bottling lines where strict hygiene standards require frequent sanitary washdowns.
• Industrial Sanitary Pumps: Driving liquid transport pumps, centrifugal pumps, and metering pumps in processing plants.
• Conveyor Systems: Powering transport belts and material handling setups in wet or highly humid packaging facilities.
• Pharmaceutical and Chemical Handling: Running mixers, fans, and agitators in production facilities that require sterile conditions and heavy chemical sanitization.
