BallistiX Five Star 85% Solids Hybrid Coating
Five Star is the top-tier, industrial grade floor coating in the BallistiX line. It is a fast-curing, self-priming two-component hybrid coating, the latest innovation from BallistiX, that works as both the basecoat and the topcoat, so one product handles a simple two-stage floor system indoors or out.

Technical Data
- Mix ratio: 1:1 Part A to Part B by volume, no induction time
- Pot life: 15-20 minutes at 70-80°F, 50% RH
- Walk-on: 1-2 hours. Dry time: 1-3 hours minimum
- Recoat: 1 hour minimum, 48 hours maximum
- Low-temperature cure to -30°F (-34°C) surface temperature (longer cure in the cold)
- Estimated coverage: 1,360 sq ft per gallon at 1 mil DFT; 2-10 mils per coat
- Application: roller, industrial phenolic core, 1/8-3/8 in nap, 18 in width
- Cleanup: xylol or MEK (no alcohols)
- Shelf life: 12 months unopened, store at 40-100°F out of direct sun

Where to Use It
Properly prepared concrete, mineral substrates and certain plastics. Garage floors, driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, concrete countertops, auto showrooms and service bays, restaurant kitchens, retail stores, restrooms, warehouses, animal housing and aircraft hangars.
Important
For industrial and professional use only. Prepare by diamond grinding to a 50-120 grit profile (SP-2). Not an epoxy; not for metallic coating systems. Do not thin or clean up with alcohols. Do not mix or apply below the dew point. Read the label and Safety Data Sheet before use.
