HistoryThis is a one owner club I bought this one in 1998 - from Custom Golf in Stamford, Connecticut, when my handicap was much better than now.I was going to have it refurbished by the Scotty Cameron Shop but have listed it instead. I am including the headcover I have used with this putter for years which is a \'Red X\' Cameron cover - from my Red X putter I lost years ago.

The Newport 2, a new addition in ’97, features a heel/toe weighted head which is longer than the Newport’s, with a more angular, mechanical look. 1/4 toe hang produces the same toe flow as the Newport, but at address the putters are strikingly different. Scotty describes the Newport as bulbulous, and the Newport 2 as blockier. The Newport 2 Tei3 also features a sightline for easy alignment. The inlay of the 12-metal alloy Teryllium creates a distinctly soft feel and solid response, while an injected elastomer membrane dampens vibration and sound. Both putters have been used to win tournaments around the globe and are very popular on Tour.
