I've had this for a number of years and it's time to let another collector enjoy it. This is a rare salesman's sample of the Bell Helicopter 1955 "Bellairus Model 47-H-1" aircraft model, originating from the United States. This handmade collectible is one of only four ever in existence, making it a valuable and sought-after item for aviation enthusiasts and collectors. With its unique design and historical significance in the world of helicopters (as the first of Bell's Helicopters to offer a fully clad fuselage with 2 contoured 35 gal fuel tanks and an enclosed, sound proof cabin with room for 1 pilot and 2 passengers), it will be a valuable addition to any transportation collection. Original carrying case with "Bell Helicopter Model 47H-1" in gold on the crackled green background and details like the hand-painted label on the side of the aircraft itself, complete the item.
Condition: Being 71yrs old, it exhibits authentic aging including some cracking in the paint and wear on the case. The Bell name and model designation on top of the case appears faintly in the pictures. It is easier to notice in person.
