Benny Goodman Silver Presentation Bowl from Boston Mayor for 1977 Jazz Concert:

This is a wonderful piece of jazz history. Boston mayor Kevin White presented this engrave commemorative Gorham silver plated bowl to Benny Goodman at the beginning of his March 18, 1977 concert. Years later, in 2005, it wound up at a jazz memorabilia sale put on by Guernsy sales in Lincoln Center, New York. The sale featured a number of other items owned by Benny Goodman. No denting noted. Some expected tarnishing to silver plate.
