Bergen Nautic Norway Gimbal Compass:
$125.00
Antique Norwegian compass on gimbal. Bergen Nautik of Bergen Norway. This is a real compass which has been retrofitted to a wood base for display. I have only seen a handful of these the way it is mounted. Definitely unique and in pretty good condition overall. The bubble read is still working well and the face is a little cloudy but it is vintage and an antique. The compass is still visible.
This is about 9” long and about 5.75” high.
The last one I have seen sold was on Etsy for $125.
Definitely a unique piece!
