One of a limited edition of Lalka dolls that are mould for mould copies of the doll ‘Bild Lilli’
The dolls’ plastic components were factory made (this doll is not 3D printed like other copies of Lilli).
Lalka was first made in a limited edition in 2009.
Now I’ve remade her.
The dolls are hand strung, spray painted, the faces hand painted and hand airbrushed.
The hair is set in by hand under a screw down scalp, just like real Lilli dolls.
The booklet is a perfect copy of the original.
A characterful and delicately painted ginger/ bright orange haired Bild Lilli Lalka wearing a beautiful reproduction of a rare and classic Bild Lilli dress in satin in a David Rose of New York, reproduction of a rare Bild Lilli print. This is one one the much rarer dress styles. The dress has a corresponding and extremely well made apron, also in a rare Bild Lilli repro print.
