Released on April 20, 1999, by Hightone Records, Raise a Ruckus is a high-energy solo album by American guitarist, singer, and songwriter Bill Kirchen. Known as a "Titan of the Telecaster," Kirchen was the founding lead guitarist for the 1970s country-rock group Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen. This album perfectly captures his signature "dieselbilly" style—a rowdy, fun mix of rockabilly, country, Western swing, and blues.
