Non-weaponlight holsters utilize the Trigger Guard for retention andLight Bearing holsters rely on theweapon light as the main form of retention. For weapon light holsters use without the light is not recommended.

Retention level is a user preference. Tight to some might feel loose to others and vs. versa. Some hand forming from the buyer maybe required to achieve their desiredretention.
