This is an aftermarket aluminium part designed to replace the OEM plastic part that becomes brittle over time, being aluminium-the same material as the cylinder block this will expand and contract at the same rate and will not become brittle.

This part is ideal when tunning the M47 / M57 platform or just for longevity of everyday vehicles as it will give you peace of mind that it will not fail under high temperature or sustained use.

These will fit all variants of M47 and M57 Engines from 1998-2013 including the twin turbo variants
