Description:This is an ASCO Red-Hat II 8210G2 electric solenoid valve with a brass body, 1/2 inch NPT ports, and a green molded 120V/60Hz (110V/50Hz) coil with flying lead wires. It is a 2-way normally closed valve, meaning it blocks flow when de-energized and opens when the coil is powered. Valves of this type are used for on/off control of air, water, light oil and similar general-service media in industrial plumbing, process, and machine control lines.
