Bronze Engraved Chinese Dragon Plate Handle Pedestal 7\" Dia Exquisite Antique For Sale

This antique Chinese pedestal brass plate with a diameter of 7 inches is a stunning piece of art. The intricate dragon and floral engravings on the plate depict the rich heritage of Chinese culture. The plate is made of bronze and has a beautiful gold color that adds to its charm. The handle has a drop of 4.5 inches and a weight of 13.3 oz.

I shared pictures and details with an art appraiser and his findings were:  This looks like a late 1800s, early 1900s Chinese bronze plate, with a lovely dragon engraving. Exquisite manufacture, very \"unusual\" with the handle, most likely belonging or made for a wealthy family, this plate was made for sweets/cookies to accompany tea, in the \"Western\" tradition that was popular in wealthy Chinese families at the end of the 1800s.
