A RARE pair of CHANEL Ballet flats from their 2010 Fall Collection. This limited seasonal run, is in an unusual and rarely seen taupe color. Chanel utilized specialty treated matte lambskin dye and dried it down to a non-glossy, nubuck nap, almost suede-like leather, with an ever so slight understated shimmer, coordinated with a smooth black leather cap toe, and finished with the signature CC Chanel logo on top of the black leather. The Chanel ballet flat is trimmed around the top of each shoe with grosgrain in the same taupe shade, and finished in the front with a tied leather bow. The inside leather wall of each shoe s marked G02819 which coordinates with the numbers on the box. The inside soles are marked CHANEL Made in Italy with a circled CC logo, and the soles underneath are marked with a circled CC Made in Italy 39. These shoes are perfect all year round and the unusual taupe color that hints at a grey tone, makes them perfect to pair with outfits of many colors!
Great condition. Held by one owner. Gently worn a few times since purchase in 2010 and gently stored in the original Chanel box. No known stains or scratches. There are very slight creases on the big toe side of each shoe, otherwise no real signs of wear on the leather toe or nubuck leather body.
