Campagnolo proudly presents - the first aerodynamic Disc Brake wheel with a 45 mm profile. WTO stands for Wind Tunnel Optimized, which is exactly what Campy did. The design of these rims enables maximum aerodynamic penetration and, at certain angles, allows the wind to become a valuable ally as well.
The streamlined design of the central part of the hub decreases the frontal area of the component whilst the special design of the flanges favours the shut-off of the flow of air, thus reducing turbulence. The 24-spoke elliptical cross section results in a far superior rolling resistance. While specifically designed for peak performance, Campy has also taken safety into account. The G3 spoking system with double spokes on the left of the front wheel, ensures balanced and safe braking in all conditions.
Designed as the ideal middle-ground, the 45mm depth of the Bora WTO 45\'s features a rim design that enables the maximum amount of aerodynamic penetration when the wind angle is between 12° and 19°, making it an excellent choice for triathletes. The medium profile and light weight also make these wheels ideal for tough climbs.
