Cannondale Cyclocross 1000 2004 53cm Frameset, Red - Disc Frame, Fork & Headset For Sale

Cannondale Cyclocross 1000, 2004 Model Year, Red, 53cm Disc Frame & Fork. Includes FSA Heastset. This frameset takes 700c wheels, it was designed as a cyclocross bike, although when I rode it years ago, I built it up as a disc brake road bike. I rode it a few times and hung it back up in the garage, eventually disassembling it and putting it back in a box where it\'s been for, years. You could put 650b/27.5 wheels on this frame and fork, as long as the tire width is measured to fit with some clearance. The fork has a lot of clearance. This frameset weighs about 4.5 lbs according to the Cannondale specs. This would make a good commuter bike, flat-bar road, retro gravel or nice single speed build with a chain tensioning device. The axle interface is 100mm/135mm (mountain) spacing for a QR skewer disc wheelset.6061-T6 aluminum tubing with a rigid non-suspension-corrected design. The seatpost in the pictures is NOT included (neither is the response workstand!), but the seatpost diameter that fits in this bike is 27.2. The IS Disc Brake mounts on the frame and fork will allow installation of 6\" rotors, I did not try anything larger. The original black seat clamp pictured is included. There is a plastic line-guide in the fork for proper routing of your front brake cable or hose. Some black anodized aluminum cable ferrule stops are included in a bag, useful if you build it with cable actuated brakes. The Cannondale owners manual is included, I am the original and only owner, I bought this new in 2004. The candy-apple red paint on this bike looks amazing in the sun! Will be shipped in a frame box, well packed. Check the pictures for specifics. Ask if you have questions, I will respond.
