A tall and slender mizusashi, a jug to keep fresh water for use in the tea ceremony, decorated with three horses.
Fine gray stoneware decorated in iron black-brown, covered with a translucent gray glaze, with thick dripping opaque, crackled, celadon glaze rolling over the decoration, giving the impression that the horses are in the woods.
It is covered by a simple black lacquered wooden cover with metal grip.

Chip and frittings at upper rim; few small chips on the cover, lacquer dull. All commensurate with age and gentle usage.
