The CeramicSpeed BB ALPHA Bottom Bracket is designed for English/BSA threaded frames with a 68mm shell width. It is compatible with DUB spindles and is specifically made for gravel riding. The black bottom bracket features lightweight 7075 aluminum cups, reducing weight by 10% compared to previous models. Bearings have been repositioned further out in the cup to allow flush-fitting POM plastic dust covers, which provide enhanced protection against debris and contamination.
The bottom bracket uses hardened stainless steel races for increased durability and corrosion resistance, paired with grade-3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls for smooth performance. A redesigned internal ball bearing race offers better support for pre-load, while custom light contact seals combine low friction with improved protection, increasing contamination resistance by 500% without adding drag.
The BB ALPHA comes with DUB-specific cups that require fewer spacers and includes a DUB spacer kit along with 5ml of CeramicSpeed UFO Long Life grease.
