Reate was making these chinese models of the Ultramar before being discontinued. I carry one myself daily . Box has slight wear.. this is NOT USA MADE . This is china . This is what I would call a super clone of the usa made knives. I own a few USA and the difference is hard to tell. The price is great for this knife. I am very impressed with the action, slow tilt closing , scales etc. I keep it honest. if it was junk, I wouldn't sell these. Each is fully inspected and tested for any flaws. Haven't found any issues. People at work love these. Fast shipping no returns.
