This rare bone china goblet was made in 1975 by Coalport for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, RSPB, to raise money for the Save a Place for Birds Appeal Fund. Only 1000 were made in this limited edition run, and this goblet is number 12, very early in the production. This measures approximately 4 5/8 inches tall and 4" wide at the top. It has alternating ovals with the letters RSPB, and four different birds, an owl and possibly an osprey, snipe and crane or egret. The cup is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is light surface wear, and a few very faint surface marks to the bottom of the interior. Please see my pictures and thank you for viewing my listing!
