Calendar Operation – Please Read Carefully
The calendar functions, but there is an issue with the original date quick-set mechanism.
- Date: Normally, the date on this model can be advanced by pressing the crown inward. However, on this particular watch, the crown is too stiff to operate the date quick-set function in this manner.
- The date can instead be advanced by moving the hands back and forth between approximately 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
- Day: There is no quick-set function for the day of the week. The day must be set by advancing the hands through the normal 24-hour cycle.
Therefore, please consider the crown-operated date quick-set function to be non-functional / in need of adjustment or servicing, although the date can currently be advanced using the alternative hand-setting method described above.
Please operate the crown and calendar mechanism gently due to the age of the watch.
