Description of Optional Upgrades - See \"Current Listing\" above to verify which upgrades are included in this listing.

Performance Tuned

Your radio is optimized for best performance and set to achieve 100% modulation. Factory radios routinely perform well below FCC limits. Tuning is performed with a Bird 43 average and peak-reading wattmeter, spectrum analyzer, digital and analog oscilloscope, frequency counter, and signal generator.

Receive Enhancement

The receiver section is aligned to the optimal signal to noise ratio using an RF generator, signal generator, and SINAD meter, along with other equipment as specified in the service manual. On radios that left the factory without Schottky barrier diodes, those faster switching diodes replace the factory diodes, which can result in lower levels of interference.

Nitro LED Rings

Nitro LED rings are installed behind the radio\'s knobs. The original knobs can be retained to give the radio a backlit glow, or clear knobs can be installed in place of the stock knobs. Check the panel above to see which is included in this ad. Generally the factory display dimmer is used in conjunction with the Nitro dimmer.
