Creative Machine Design Ben-Zion Sandler 1985 Engineering Illustrated HCDJ For Sale

Creative Machine Design: Design Innovation and the Right Solutions by Ben-Zion Sandler, Ph.D., is an insightful guide into the methodologies of technical creativity and engineering. Published in 1985 by The Solomon Press, this work explores the transition from conceptual \'what\' thinking to the practical \'how\' of machine design. The author, a professor from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, provides a structured approach to solving complex engineering problems using techniques like brainstorming, analogy, and the morphological approach. The text is richly supported by a comprehensive list of figures and tables, including layouts for processing machinery, internal combustion engines, and kinematic systems. It features practical exercises at the end of chapters to reinforce concepts in kinematic layout, CAD/CAM integration, and the marketing of engineering solutions. This book serves as a valuable resource for students and professional engineers interested in the history and application of innovative design principles.
