This is a CUSTOM built 1960’s era
“Generic” Tonka Stake Body Truck. Paint is all 100% original. Paint was clear coated after a gentle cleaning to give it that wet look. The frame and body were modified to accommodate the larger wheels/tires. Had to cut out the wheel wells and portions of the bed some as well as strength the forward part of the frame. Wheels are 1/10 R/C hard TRAXXAS rubber tires with metal rims mounted to custom solid aluminum axles that were drilled and tapped. Wheels are attached via metal screws and all roll smoothly. New reproduction windshield installed. Been sitting on my shelf for years after I built it. Time for someone else to enjoy it. Cool and unique truck!
