This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofDanbury Connecticut from circa 1898. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. Each has a caption beneath.

Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is undated, but based on similar books in my collection and the presence of horse-drawn carriages in the pictures, it is circa 1890-1902.
