This listing is for a DxO One camera. This is a version of the camera which is designed for Android / USB-C connectivity. It is also brand new and factory sealed. Photos on the listing are of the actual item for sale.
This is genuine new-old-stock from approximately 2017–2018. As with any sealed electronic device that has been in storage for nearly a decade, there are inherent considerations that any serious buyer should be aware of before purchasing:
- Battery: Lithium-ion batteries degrade over time even when unused. The internal battery may hold a reduced charge, require reconditioning, or in rare cases may no longer hold a charge at all. Battery replacement on compact cameras of this type is possible but requires technical comfort.
- App support: The DxO ONE app is no longer maintained or available through the Google Play Store. Sideloading older APK versions is possible and has been done successfully by enthusiasts, but is not guaranteed on all devices or Android versions.
- Android compatibility: The DxO One Android was originally certified for a specific set of 2017-era devices. Functionality on modern Android phones is not guaranteed.
- Seals and components: While the unit is factory sealed and shows no signs of issues, all internal components are of 2017 vintage.
This listing is intended for collectors, photography enthusiasts, and technically savvy buyers who understand and accept these realities.
