Offered here is an excellent condition unopened Ertl Triton TR-21 boat. Note that the box is not an Ertl branded box with graphics and product information. I believe this item to be a very rare product test shot, prepared by the box production company to get the box size style and packaging inserts approved by Ertl. Who could then design the graphics for the production boxes. I purchased this item at an estate sale and unfortunately they were not able to provide any details of it’s background so I am really only guessing about the details based on my fairly extensive toy collecting/toy production knowledge.
