What a HUGE and FLASHING beautiful old diamond ring! It’s a VERY nice natural old diamond here! Measures 7.5mm across. There are accents to make the total weight close to 1.35cts. Old cut (this one looks like a transition cut) are getting harder to find in this excellent condition! Size 8.25. Can be easily sized by your jeweler! The ring has normal wear for its age.
The diamond has heavy fluorescence, so it’s SUPER sparkly even in the darkest of light! It does have a few inclusions visible with a 10x loupe, but faces up very nicely white (you would need to look quite closely to find the inclusions). The diamond was weighed outside of the mounting, so the carat weight is accurate. The ring weighs 4.23 grams. The interior of the ring is marked 10% Irid Plat (typical for an antique platinum setting). The ring size measures just under 8.5. (8.25-8.5 scant).
