Early 70’s Horseshoe Style Oil Tank:

Early 70’s Oil tank off of a ‘74 Shovelhead. I’ve seen certain styles of tanks that are close to this but haven’t found anything exactly the same. I dont believe its OEM because the bike had ALOT of aftermarket parts but I could be wrong. The tank isn’t entirely chrome, it looks like it was partially dipped, but everything thats visible when installed on a bike is chrome. I didn’t put it on but the Grateful Dead sticker on the cap is a nice little touch. The tank obviously worked when I removed it, I installed a round tank for my chopper build and stuck this im a box in my garage. I don’t have the bike anymore and I dont really have a use for it on my next build so here it is. Any questions or information you have about this tank then feel free to message me, Thank you!
