The Pinch of Snuff (also known as The Rabbi) by Marc Chagall. Chagall created the original composition around 1912 during his early career in Paris, blending Cubist fragments with dreamlike expressionism. He later painted a highly celebrated version in the 1920s, which was notably targeted and confiscated by the Nazi regime as "degenerate art" before being saved and acquired by the Kunstmuseum Basel in Switzerland, where the original canvas permanently resides today.
This print is from that same museum in Basel. The color remains vibrant and no significant creases or damage, this piece will not be rolled into a tube but instead slightly rolled into a bigger box. The paper is thick and this would be best for transport.
