Ekaterina Vanovskaya is a highly credentialed contemporary fine artist and university painting professor.

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Vanovskaya grew up in the United States and earned a

BFA from the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington.

She is a three-time recipient of the highly competitive Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant (2017, 2018, 2024) and an alumnus of the Bronx Museum’s Artist in the Marketplace program.

Her works have been exhibited nationally across major galleries in New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

While her large-scale exhibition canvas pieces regularly command thousands of dollars in primary gallery markets, this piece offers an intimate, professionally framed studio example of her remarkable eye for light and form.
