El Rinconada Rancho = \"The Corner Ranch\"
Rancho Rinconada de Los Gatos and Rancho Rinconada del Arroyo de San Francisquito were both Mexican land grants from the 1840s in what is now Santa Clara County, CA. Rancho Rincón de los Bueyes was another in Los Angeles County. Ojai is in Ventura County. Dairies in California in the 1920s-1950s loved to put the old rancho name on their bottles to sound established - that\'s the same era when Broguiere\'s and most of the other glass-bottle dairies in LA / Central California started.
Most collectors who have listed an El Rinconada Rancho bottle list it as a California milk bottle, circa 1930s-1950s, pint or quart embossed round, and the ones that have sold were found in California estate sales - it was a small independent rancho dairy, which is why there are only a few examples out there.
