Offered for sale is an original studio art glass bowl created collaboratively by renowned American glass artists James Engebretson and Renée Nielsen Engebretson.
The vessel features an etched/engraved artist signature on the bottom base (\"Engebretson / Nielsen\").
This piece showcases their signature technique: cased colored glass layered under clear, hand-cut, and meticulously sandblasted to create an intricate, overlapping \"feather\" or leaf motif.
The vessel features a dramatic swooping, asymmetrical rim and a vibrant rainbow gradient transition of colors, including warm amber yellow, emerald green, rich teal, deep purple, and smoky grey.
Height: Approx. 8 1/4 inches
Width: Approx. 8 inches at the widest point
Depth: Approx. 3 inches at the base
Offered in as-is condition due to two small chips on the tips of the feather edges along the upper rim. Because of the textured, multi-pointed carved feather rim design, these chips blend naturally into the silhouette, but they are present. ‼️See picture #9 & #10‼️
Please review close-up details for exact condition. No other cracks, structural breaks, or clouding.
This fine studio piece will be double-boxed with heavy-duty bubble wrap and cushioning to ensure safe transit.
