Description
Exceptionally Quiet Motor Edison Standard/Fireside/Amberola DX Phonograph
The motor comes from a Standard Model E phonograph.
As whole, the motor would fit a Fireside and Amberola DX. However, individual parts of a Standard and Fireside/Amberoala DX motors are not interchangeable.
On full wind, in the open, and not belted, the motor was spinning, exceptionally quiet for a bit over 16 mnutes. From just a couple feet away, I literally couldn\'t hear it. There was no spring release noise.
For safer packaging and transit, I will detach the start/stop lever (one screw).
