Genuine Fender Roasted Maple J Bass Neck
Roasted maple necks have become quite popular among guitar and bass players here at Sweetwater. Why? Well, the roasting procedure removes almost all the moisture from the wood and collapses the cell walls, which increases sustain and makes the neck much more insensitive to humidity and climatic changes. If you gig far and wide, you\'ll appreciate this next time you play Miami after a week in Phoenix. As roasting removes moisture, it also removes weight for better balance and playability. And as a bonus, roasting gives maple a beautiful, dark look. So if you\'re looking to upgrade your Fender Jazz Bass, check out this Roasted Maple Standard Series Replacement Jazz Bass Neck.
Note: Every neck and guitar is different, and a final setup, including filing the nut slots and a final fret leveling, may be required after installation on your guitar. Call your Sweetwater is an Authorized Fender Dealer
