Installation Notes
Before service:
Turn off the engine and water supply.
Disconnect the spark-plug wire.
Pull the spray-gun trigger to release all remaining pressure.
Allow the pump and engine to cool completely.
Inspect the pistons, seals, O-rings, and crankcase before installing the new manifold.
Apply a small amount of pump-safe silicone grease to new O-rings and seals. Install all seals squarely and carefully.
Tighten the manifold bolts gradually and evenly in an alternating pattern. Follow the torque specification in the service manual for your exact pump model. Do not over-tighten the aluminum manifold.
Do not adjust the unloader valve unless you have the correct pressure-testing equipment and repair experience.
